Grinding and Pulverizing

GRINDING AND PULVERIZING

Grinding is a term that is used for header cutting along the edges of concrete curbs and gutters or ribbon gutters so that new paving will finish 3/8" above the existing concrete. This is needed when you’re doing an asphalt overlay.

Pulverizing can turn your broken or badly cracked parking lot into a reusable aggregate base. This process recycles your existing asphalt materials on site. After line and grade are determined, the process of fine grading begins. Once the new surface is watered, rolled, and compacted you are ready for placement of new asphalt pavement.
